From preparation to completion
The assessment extends beyond selecting a beam. Existing floors and walls, bearings, connections and underlying support may all be relevant. Agree which drawings and construction details accompany the calculation and who investigates missing information. An example calculation from another house is not a design for your property. Changes to the opening or column positions must be reflected in the final documents.

What affects the price?
Loads, span, support, access and finishes determine the work. A price for steel alone is not a price for the complete opening. Share your drawings and desired result so the quotation can identify included work, provisional items and exclusions.
