Finishing a structural opening

An opening becomes part of your interior when floor, wall and ceiling finishes meet properly. Agree on the expected finish before work starts.

From preparation to completion

Removing a wall may reveal missing floor finishes, old wall outlines and level differences. A consistent result can therefore require work beyond the opening itself. Discuss exposed steel or cladding and identify who handles plastering, painting and flooring. Drying periods may affect the sequence. The area to repair and availability of matching materials influence the price.

What we coordinate with you

  • Agree on the final appearance
  • Detail beam and column cladding
  • Review junctions with existing finishes
  • Coordinate follow-on work and handover

What affects the price?

Loads, span, support, access and finishes determine the work. A price for steel alone is not a price for the complete opening. Share your drawings and desired result so the quotation can identify included work, provisional items and exclusions.
