Above, below and around
A wall or floor above may affect the design. The floor or foundations below the new support also matter. A long access route, upper-floor property or tight workspace may require more labour and equipment.
Compare the finished result
Exposed steel and a fully concealed solution need different finishing work. Restoring continuous floors or ceilings can extend beyond the original wall position. Use the same plans for each quotation and ask for separate identification of design, steel, installation, removal and repairs.
