Calculations may need further information. Steel can only be ordered definitively once dimensions and design are settled. Permissions and specialist availability also affect the start. Separate these stages in the programme.
Living in the property
Discuss which rooms and services remain usable and which routes must stay clear. Plan around cooking, home working, children and pets. Floor repairs, plastering and painting may require later visits and drying periods. Agree both structural completion and the final handover date.
