Prepare the rooms
Remove fragile belongings and agree on floor protection. Keep passageways clear and define where workers and materials may go. At apartments, include shared areas and neighbour arrangements.
During and after demolition
The work method and dust-control measures must suit the project. Keep residents outside the work area. Specify the cleaning standard at handover: removing rubble and sweeping is different from deep-cleaning adjoining living spaces.
