Dutch notification requirements
IPLO describes notification duties for asbestos removal and estimated demolition waste exceeding 10 cubic metres, subject to specific exceptions. Check the actual project through the Omgevingsloket and, where needed, the municipality.
Unexpected material
Appearance or a photograph cannot rule out asbestos. Have the need for a survey established and leave unexpected suspect material undisturbed until its handling is clear. Agree whether surveys, specialist removal and unusual waste are included; they are not automatically part of ordinary debris disposal.
