From preparation to completion
A weld may be part of a beam, column, frame or fabricated assembly. The component’s function, material and design details must be clear first. A neat-looking weld alone does not establish structural suitability. Agree on drawings, fabrication, checks, finish and any delivery or installation. Existing steel also requires information about condition, earlier alterations and coatings. Homeowners can request welding work by sharing plans, measurements and photographs.

What affects the price?
Loads, span, support, access and finishes determine the work. A price for steel alone is not a price for the complete opening. Share your drawings and desired result so the quotation can identify included work, provisional items and exclusions.

Can existing load-bearing steel simply be modified?
No. Material, existing conditions and the effect of the change must be assessed first. Work must follow an appropriate design and clear agreements.
