Temporary support planning

During a structural opening, the building also needs support in the temporary stages. This deserves the same attention as the permanent steelwork.

From preparation to completion

A temporary support plan considers loads during the work and the structure supporting the props. The sequence and conditions for removing temporary support must be clear. A generic prop spacing or fixed waiting period cannot replace a project-specific assessment. The number of levels, duration and necessary supporting provisions influence planning and cost.

What we coordinate with you

  • Assess temporary loading stages
  • Include the supporting floors and structure
  • Coordinate the work sequence
  • Agree on release and removal conditions

What affects the price?

Loads, span, support, access and finishes determine the work. A price for steel alone is not a price for the complete opening. Share your drawings and desired result so the quotation can identify included work, provisional items and exclusions.

Questions about this service

When can the props be removed?

Only when the structural and execution requirements have been met. Materials and connections affect this; there is no universal waiting period.
